IAVI India actively reaches out to in-country donor communities. Our ongoing efforts include sharing information with bi-lateral, multi-lateral and other international agencies and keeping donors informed on IAVI India’s AIDS vaccine research and development programme, clinical trials, vaccine preparedness efforts and policy issues. Regular meetings and one-on-one consultations are also aimed at exploring potential partnerships and collaborations supporting research and development of an AIDS vaccine for India.

IAVI is also a member of the UN Theme Group, co-chaired by the UN Resident Representative and the Government of India, which provides coordinated support to the states in HIV/AIDS prevention and care programmes.
